It is now official! Members and customers coming to the New Lynn Memorial RSA will be pleased to hear that an announcement was made on the 13 March 2010 at the conclusion of the Special Annual General Meeting by the President Ross Hancock that members approved the redevelopment of the club. Ross Hancock says “We are extremely excited and pleased that the members voted to proceed with the redevelopment project, this is the right time, the right environment and the improvements will benefit the members of today and secure our future.”
The plans for the redevelopment of the club are based on feedback from members and customers, Executive and Futures committee, the plans will include changes such as the relocation of services, a reconfiguration of the restaurant, expansion of the restaurant, relocation of the TAB, an external redesign (shown on this page) and changes to the lounge and other plans to make the New Lynn Memorial RSA a great place and a great experience for all members and guests.
The project manager Terry Wood said that communication with customers and members is very important to the club. Mr. Wood has developed plans to ensure communications about the development are transparent, informative and interesting. As part of that promise to customers and interested parties, this website page has been developed to keep you updated and every fortnight we will update this page so that you have all of the latest information that you know what is happening.
